I met Paul through our mutual love if climbing. Not that we climbed together. Our time together on trips was spent on the long walk in and out of crags. Our chats about music, coffee, bread and anything else that came to mind made walk-ins a lot shorter. Paul's enthusiasm for climbing and warmth as person soon meant he was voted to be the president of our band of climbers. His tenure saw the introduction of many new members. All will tell you that they have learnt much from Paul and have gone on to hold key positions within the club. He has left a legacy of a inclusive and friendly club. He will will be missed
