I know Paul from Brixton Climbers club (BCC) . I’m not sure if he and I ever did a pitch together but we’ve done some of the same trips, and I organised the annual BCC Christmas meal (and legendary awards) when Paul was club president - a role he took seriously. So my memories are as much about Paul as a person and his presence in BCC - a lovely lovely guy, calm, reassuring, interested, someone you felt at ease with. No side. Just Paul. With a couple of BCC friends, we’ve talked about how much we want Indi to know all that we know about Paul - as a friend, as someone who loved climbing and adventure, and who was just good to be around.
